User group meetings
We follow a co-creation approach that underlies our dissemination and implementation strategy. Academics as well as stakeholders continuously work together to insure a successful uptake of knowledge. The latter is based on continuous, genuine interaction among researchers, decision-makers, stakeholders and the general public.
The user group enables interaction with different categories of users (health professionals, academics, policy makers and (ex)clients).
We consider it essential to consult the user group, as it enables the development of a common vision and concept.
Important elements are early and open discussion about the different actions to be implemented, the significance and meaning of the results, the development of deliverables, the implementation of deliverables in practice, participation of clients and professionals, etc.
In these user group meetings, we will evaluate selected tools and best practices and think about how useful and suitable these methods/models could be within the local mental health context. We will develop an implementation strategy for evidence-based tools and practices that should lead to the pilot implementation of three initiatives.
First meeting: 29-30 Oct. 2018, Amazone vzw, Brussels
Second meeting: 13 May 2019, Palace of the Academics, Brussels
